The Most Humbling City

Before moving to New York I never would have considered myself sheltered in a way, but since moving to this city of dreams i've realized nothing would have prepared me more for adult life than this city. New York has given me so many good memories and people who I never would have known if I hadn't taken this leap of living here. In this video I show pictures and some images of the moments that were unforgettable so far living here. NYC gets you ready for life like no other city and really has made me more aware of a lot and I think this is an experience many should have because it really does make you feel so grateful. Even though my apartment maybe the size of a shoe box or how my roommate and I have to put towels down every time it rains to prepare for the leak, or even getting spit on a couple of times from a homeless man, all of these experiences are very big character building moments that I wouldn’t take back. But no matter what happens I know I will really be so thankful when I live in an apartment with a dishwasher and laundry unit, and I would live here in this crazy city all over again just to learn these lessons and meet these amazing people.
